INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET - News), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for October 2009. The Company generated 1.765 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 121.8% increase from the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 104.4%. Block hours were 85,351 in October 2009, a 46.9% increase from October 2008. Load factor was 79.3% versus 73.0% in October 2008. A total of 2,797,581 passengers were carried during the month, a 78.1% increase from the same month last year.

Branded operations in 2009 include all operations for Frontier Airlines beginning October 1^st, Midwest Airlines beginning August 1^st and Mokulele Airlines between July 1^st and October 14^th. Any of the Company’s operations on behalf of Midwest Airlines and Mokulele Airlines prior to these dates are included as Fixed-Fee operations.
